Quentin Tarantino fans like their films violent, profane and disturbing. Watch Django Unchained online free is a triumph along those lines, and the performances are not to miss. Those who don’t apotheosizes Tarantino will probably wish for a tighter and less epic but grander production. Otherwise, people are eating it up. Like spectators at a Roman forum enjoying gore for its own sake, the audience at the premiere was raucous as slave-turned bounty hunter Django and his partner make a bloody mess out of racist 19th century scoundrels.
Along with the cast, crew and producers, celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Uma Thurman and Patti Smith turned up for the Tuesday night screening to watch Django Unchained online streamed at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York. Before the showing, Tarantino took the stage to prepare the audience for what’s coming. Nearly everyone seemed transfixed after the showing. Smith called the movie “awesome,” and Diaz said it was “three hours of Tarantino perfection.” Thurman was also there to compare body counts—hers is “at least 88” for Tarantino films.
The writer/director has this to say about epic films:
“You spend some time with your family. You want to go to the movies and have a big experience. And I think our movie is definitely a big experience.”
Watch Django Unchained online stars Jamie Foxx in the title role. He’s joined by Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and Walton Goggins in supporting roles. The film opens nationwide in the U.S. on December 25.
Quentin Tarantino fans are getting a deliciously violent Christmas present in watch Django Unchained online for free, out on December 25. The slavery ‘southern’ is set in 19th century America, where atrocious racists are common and black heroes are rare. Django (Jamie Foxx) joins dentist-cum-bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) in a protracted revenge quest that runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes. The critics have already stamped the ‘hilariously bloody’ film with their seals of approval, but if you’re a cynic like me who needs more reassurance, here’s a pro-con list before you watch Django Unchained online:
Skilled performances. I didn’t fall for Leonardo DiCaprio in Basketball Diaries, Titanic, Inception or The Departed, and I still don’t like him, but his turn here as soulless evil incarnate is moderately absorbing. Waltz is equally impressive in his bounty hunter/mentor role.
Western/Southern. Clint Eastwood, Wyatt Earp, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly…if you’re hooked on all of them, you’ll love to watch Django Unchained online full movie.
Humor. It’s no Blazing Saddles, but the light touch is a godsend in this bloated slavery tale.
Music. Western-themed tunes from the likes of Rick Ross, John Legend, Tupac and James Brown are apt.
Edge-of-your-seat sequences. The film is imperfect and far from concise, but don’t expect to doze off in the cinema. Tarantino guarantees a wild ride.
Long. Most ‘highly anticipated’ films this year are interminable: The Hobbit, Les Miserables, Zero Dark Thirty, Cloud Atlas…it goes on. Some films need the extended screen time, while others just need better editing. IMHO, watch Django Unchained online full movie could have been tighter.
Messy. Messy is not ‘complex;’ it means the film needs cleaning up. Tarantino is a competent filmmaker, but Django could use more focus.
